Music department shows immense talent, even if it is Not-So-Nine

Not-So-Nine, a Glenbrook South boys acapella group, made their debut two years ago and continues to impress audiences in 2008.
The group was created by Matt Alderman, now a college sophomore. Not-So-Nine consists of eight students and is similar, in style and name, to the school-sponsored boys acapella group, Nine.

GRAMMY names Music Department #1

GBS was named The National GRAMMY Signature School, or the school with the best music department, March 19. The GRAMMY Foundation created the GRAMMY Signature Schools program in 1998 as a way of recognizing exemplary U.S. public high schools that make “an outstanding commitment to music education during an academic school year.”
