‘07-’08 Peer mediation requests fluctuate

The Peer Mediation program at Glenbrook South has returned for its fifth year. However, the program has not been providing the usual amount of mediations compared to previous years. It has completed 17 mediations this year, a little more than half of the usual 30 mediations per year.

Teacher bikes to raise AIDS funds

Among the many fundraising events for AIDS was the “Twin Cities Aids Ride” sponsored by The Tanquery Corporation in 1999.  GBS Spanish and Sign Language teacher Rosemarie Carsello successfully completed the 500-mile bike ride, which began in Minneapolis and ended in Chicago.
